As per vastu bedrooms should be decided as per the occupation and work of the native, in general both the directions South West and North are good for bedroom and anyone can use them, but if a person who is a CA or an artist or do something which needs skills should have bedroom in south west , and the person who is into job and always seek new opportunities should have bedroom in North direction. Yes indeed one of the best entrance as per vastu, there is myth that one should always have a main door in north or east of the house but that is not true at all,  selection of the main door depends on the occupation of the owner ,  so that it can give the best results, rest in general if  your entrance falls in the right division  then it will give you benefits and it can be in any direction. When we calculate and divide each direction into eight equal parts then the third and fourth division is auspicious, so if you have entrance in South in third division then it will be very auspicious and beneficial for you. You can follow some of the things but never follow in general rather i would suggest to ask specific problems and get solutions as per vastu. Never have a toilet or kitchen in North East No red colour in North No blue colour in South No Green colour in West No Grey/yellow in East No green /brown in South west Keep a money plant in blue bottle in North direction it will increase the opportunities A Red bulb in South east can increase money flow. Never have a Granite in Kitchen A family photo should be hanged in South west So these are some basics which can be done and will not create any problem, rest all Vastu should be precise and done as per ones need.
