As per vastu bedrooms should be decided as per the occupation and work of the native, in general both the directions South West and North are good for bedroom and anyone can use them, but if a person who is a CA or an artist or do something which needs skills should have bedroom in south west , and the person who is into job and always seek new opportunities should have bedroom in North direction.
Before come to conclusions you should check again on to the scale map of your home with marked all 16 directions on it, where exactly the room are, as slight change as per 16 directions can leads to negative effects.
